During the certification test, a health technologist saw the fraud coming and recorded that the software had many weaknesses. He stated that the tests were superficial and anyone could game it.
One professional who were among the certification jurors realized immediately that the system had limitations and wasn’t as efficient as earlier stated when it took more than 30 minutes to produce some results that could be produced by any simple computer program. In the long run, the vendors were given a large amount of money as they passed the test and obtained certification. The truth is, the government messed up when it gave out the lots of money to the vendors who did the least amount of effort. According to the whistle blower in their suits, it was alleged that the software being used in hospital was a different one and the vendors lied. The justice department accused the providers of rigging their way for certification which amounts to a big lie. The government too have accused several providers of doing the rigging, a matter which dome of them have denied while others couldn’t respond to questions about this.
Various limitations of the software were captured by physicians who noticed that patients could be sent home with wrong doses, drugs or instructions.
